Stewie is a very sweet fellow who has just come back into rescue after 4 years in his adopted home. Stewie was returned through absolutely no fault of his own - he came back as the result of a divorice. His former owner put a lot of time and effort into his training, and this fellow has been returned a very well mannered boy! His foster mom says he is very respectful in the house and has been completely trustworthy left loose in the house. Stewie doesn't get up on anything in the house and has excellent manners. He is housebroken and he listens well. Stewie plays well with the other dog in his foster home, and he is quick to back down from any confrontation. He is just a happy-go-lucky guy who is happy to go with the flow. Stewie would make an excellent flyball dog - he just LOVES the ball and will bring it back as long as you throw it (and he'll keep going long after you are tired.) He does bring back the ball and drops it right away - he will even push it towards you if you don't notice it! Stewie also will release any toy with the command "leave it." Stewie pulls a little on leash, and is improving everyday in his foster home. He has a great personality and is a pretty easy guy to have around! Stewie would be happiest in a home with another dog as he is not used to being on his own. Stewie is okay with cats, but is very curious about them. He would do well in a home with kids, but would be best in a home without pre-school aged children as he doesn't always watch where he is going when he runs! Stewie is VERY toy motivated, and he is easy to manage off leash - especially if you have a toy! He is an easy-going, happy fellow who is looking for a home with an active family that loves to play. This sweet boy is a pretty easy guy to get along with over all and has a very sweet nature and a friendly personality! Stewie would be an easy fit into almost any home. (Indoor Home Only!)
